The regulations governing fire-fighting systems foresee the need for a transmission system that can transfer fire, fault and out-of-service alarms to an alarm receiving centre in the event of a 24-hour failure, so that the personnel in charge can promptly follow up on intervention measures.
The connection between the fire alarm system and the receiving stations must be constantly monitored and entrusted to an EN 54-21 compliant transmitter with dual communication vector, such as Fire-Link.
All unmanned sites that are required to have a fire detection system must therefore have such a connection. With their own monitoring centres and the supervised connection of the Fire-Link, security companies can take over and manage these reports, guaranteeing maximum operational security.
